From an Intern to a Fellow

Anneliese Victoria Azua is the new American Latino Experience Building Curatorial Excellence Pre-Doctoral Fellow at NMAH.

Before becoming a Ph.D. candidate in American Studies at the University of Texas and a graduate portfolio student in Latina/o Studies, Anneleise Victoria Azúa had a 2015 internship in the National Museum of American History‘s (NMAH) Division of Home and Community Life with Margaret Salazar-Porzio.

Anneleise recently began as the first of two American Latino Experience Building Curatorial Excellence Pre-Doctoral Fellows in NMAH’s Division of Medicine and Science with Lexi Lord and Katherine Ott.
