Jaguars in the Spotlight

Smithsonian Tropical Research Institute (STRI) research associate Ricardo Moreno is currently working with local Panamanian residents to gain insights on the best ways to increase Jaguar protection in the area.

A recent article posted to Smithsonian Insider discusses why Jaguars are being targeted by some and different approaches Mr. Moreno and his fellow researchers are taking to help conserve this species.
