Members of the Smithsonian Academic Appointment Diversity and Publicity Taskforce (AADAPT) visited Gallaudet University Friday 10/06/17 to talk to students about internship and fellowship opportunities at the Smithsonian. There were several hundred Gallaudet students at the event, and they were especially enthusiastic about the Smithsonian.  Smithsonian representatives included Gordon Bullock (OFI), Ashley Grady (AP), and Robert Alexander (NMAI). They were accompanied by National Gallery of Art Fellows and Interns Director Martha Schloetzer

AADAPT is dedicated to increasing diversity in all forms including but not limited to gender, race/ethnicity, socio-economic status, age, ability, and sexual orientation in Smithsonian Institution’s academic appointments.
