Promoting SI Internships, Fellowships, Careers, and Volunteer Opportunities at UDC

For the fifth straight year, Smithsonian’s Academic Appointment Diversity and Publicity Taskforce (AADAPT) had a strong presence at the Fall 2017 University of the District of Columbia (UDC)‘s Job and Internship Fair.  Sponsored by UDC’s Career Services, this twice yearly fair allows SI staffers from a variety of units to promote internships, fellowships, careers, and volunteer opportunities to UDC undergraduate and graduate students. This Fall’s SI representatives included Karen Carter (OFI), Suzanne Hough (NZP), Shahin Nemazee (OEEMA), Geri Provost-Lyons (NPG),  Kristin Spencer (NPG intern from Brigham Young University), Natalie Sutton (NZP), and Terrence Washington (National Gallery of Art).
