“This [internship] is an opportunity to see that they are competitive at a national level.”
—Fawn Amber Montoya, Associate Professor and Coordinator of Chicano Studies, Colorado State University-Pueblo
The Smithsonian welcomes six students from the Colorado State University-Pueblo this summer. They will be interning at a variety of locations within the Smithsonian, including the Freer-Sackler Gallery of Art (FSGA) and the National Museum of African American History and Culture (NMAAHC). Their Smithsonian assignments will draw from previous academic experiences such as working with the Colorado General Assembly or the University Provost. You can read more about these CSU students and their Smithsonian internships here.
