Big Elephant, Little Mouse

Former Smithsonian postdoctoral fellow Dr. Hillary Young and Smithsonian National Museum of Natural History Curator of Mammals Dr. Kris Helgen (also a former Smithsonian fellow) recently had a paper published by the Proceedings of the National Academy of Sciences.

Their study focused on the impact that declining populations of large wildlife have on rodent populations, and the impact that larger rodent populations have on human health.
