NMAH/Middlebury College J-Term Internship

Napol Wills and Taylor Pierce are the first interns to participate in the National Museum of American History (NMAH) and Middlebury College’s January Term (J-Term) internship. They interned with Katherine Ott, PhD., curator in NMAH’s Medicine and Science division. However, Napol and Taylor also participated in seminars on material culture and museum education. In addition, they were able to ‘job shadow’ with development, public programs in NMAH as well as outside organizations like the National Park Service.

“I don’t know if I will ever pay for another museum again!” Napol Wills expressing her satisfaction with her internship experience.

“This helps for life after Middlebury.” Taylor Pierce sharing positive feelings as a result of this opportunity.
