Spring Break: Medicinal Plants of Antiquity

DESCRIPTION: This project focuses on exploring ancient documentation, identifying plants, comparing plant representations in old books and herbarium specimens, compiling databases, ¬†¬†cataloguing books and other material related to medicinal plants of antiquity”. This internship aims to recover ancient knowledge of medicinal plants for the future.

QUALIFICATIONS: From botany to classical languages, including botanical illustration, library science, biology, history, geography and anthropology.

LEARNING OBJECTIVES:  The intern will learn about medicinal plants and hone their skills in researching old literature.
