Project Search Comes to the Smithsonian

(Left to Right) Susie Rutkowski, Lu Merrick, Beth Ziebarth, and Steve Blanks take questions about Project Search
This morning representatives from Project Search, IvyMount School, and SEEC kicked off a two-day orientation about the Project Search Transition Progam, a on-year internship program for students with cognitive disabilities in their last year of high school. The program offers students total immersion in the workplace and facilitates the learning process as well as the acquisition of marketable, transferable, and competitive work skills.
Project Search has been introduced to the Smithsonian particularly through the efforts of Senior Program Officer Dianne Niedner and Accessibility Program Director Beth Ziebarth.
Welcome to the Smithsonian Project Search!
